Fandoms&Fanbases

Hey everyone!
Today I decided that I was going to blog about fandoms and fanbases because of how much impact they have on social networking sites and just in general around the world. If you're not to sure what a fandom is think of Beliebers, Mayniacs, Directioners, Hustlers and stuff like that, they are the fans of a music artist, band or actor and they have a name and are almost like an army for that person as trust me some fandoms can get fierce. They take over things such as twitter, concerts and cause many situations that the public arent too happy about but at the end of the day being in a fanbase is very fun!

Social Networking Sites: One MASSIVE way that fanbases can connect and connect with their idol and find about out about where their idol/idols are and where they are appearing and playing. It is great as it makes fanvases feel special when they can interact with who they can look up to and gives them a small bond with the star. Meet ups, concerts, red carpet events and stuff can all be shared through twitter, facebook and more along with their personal websites. Its a great way for fans to connect with other fans as well often making friends with people all across the world and fanbases can even become like a big family on these kind of things mainly twitter and all conect about concerts and things like that. One problem... fan wars and rumors. Many fans can start arguments with other fan bases and even celebs can agrue over these, this is one thing that often cause unneccessary drama and makes people unhappy and basically we dont like it. One major problem is rumors, rumors and more rumors. People can hear something and very easily twist it spiralling fanbases into arguemnts and more and even makint the celeb they support unhappy. Words can be twist, pictures can be very easily photo shopped as there are so many clever programs these days and posers. People that pretend to be a celebrity and tell people things and post old and fake pictures to cause a stir and cause problems to get attention.. So guys dont believe everything you hear online.

Concerts and Meet Ups: Concerts and meet ups are great for fanbases because it gives all the fans in that area and around thr world when they do world tours too see their favourite arists and actors and stuff and to party together and just make more friends and meet friends you've met in the fandoms online and stuff like that. Its such a good time and carefree which is why I love going to concerts just the atmosphere everywhere and everyones really happy and enjoying themselves to their favourite artists songs or seeing the actor they love to watch in movies and on tv.

Overall being in a fanbase is so much fun cause you get to make loads and loads of new friends and meet new people who travel for all around the world to different places to see their idol who could be the same as yours. Social networking gets more fun and coming up with loads of creative and unique things to do to make your idol smile and loving them and support them together and that is what being in a fanbase is all about supporting them and working together for them. You wok hard for them you get good things back :)
