Back To School

Hey everyone!
Today I thought I'd blog about something that's happened a lot recently to people all over the world and that is... going back to school.
It may be some people are going from, primary school to secondary school, from secondary school to college, college to university or university to work who knows but everyone has the same things in common. You are all starting a new beginning whether its just a new year group such as year 9 to year 10 every year brings something new and it tends to go by very quickly as I have experienced through out secondary school, I am in my last year at the moment and everything is already flying by and the thought of GCSEs are terrifying but very soon they will be over. Oh! and people are already chin wagging about prom in lessons... guess who not gonna have a date cause they are forever alone? That's correct. me. Well enough dwelling on things that aren't happening and lets get on with it. On my Twitter and Facebook I have been asked many questions about school life and general things to get through school and in this blog I am going to answer them the best that I can.

Q. What's the best way to ease back to school/new school nerves?
Beating the nerves is very easy if you know how. Having and suffering from anxiety along with many others I have managed to find some good ways to stop anxiousness and to find ways to help relax back into routine and back into the school swing or wherever you may be heading. 1. Stay with friends and be around the people that make you happy. Being with friends and having fun is always the best way to beat any nerves and uncertainty about something and will take your mind off the fact you are anxious. 2. Think positively and of things you are looking forward too. Thinking of things you are looking forward to helps take the pressure off things you may not be looking forward too much and gives you a positive mind, in my case seeing Conor Maynard in a few weeks.. Conor I love you, marry me okay?

 Q. How can I stay organised?
Staying organised is something a lot of people struggle to do including myself but I am slowly learning a few bits and bobs to help keep organised and I am going to share them with you guys and hope that they work! 1. Do all work set on the night you get it! I know this is very hard with the world of YouTube as a distraction and hot tumblr boys but I promise you it does work, it loosens the work load and doesn't let it all pile up on you. Another tip is 2. Keep paper in folder and any work set that you need to hand in and keep books in a separate area. Keep all school work together and in a clean and separate place to everything else to ensure you wont lose or ruin anything and keep everything together you need to study.

Q. I get teased about the way I look at school what should I do?
The amount of stuff I see about this phenomenal and in my mind unacceptable. Why anyone should be teased about the way they look is beyond me especially at school. I mean come on people it school right? You're here to learn and get a good education to set a sturdy foundation for your future and to have fun with friends not to have to deal with loads of bitches and to impress people right? So my piece of advice is ignore all the idiots that are picking on you for your looks because you are beautiful and I'll tell you now, you'll be the one with an amazing job living in a mansion and not working on a stripper pole, so next time someone is a bitch to you about something like that just ignore them and remember how amazing you are how silly they are to have to stoop to that level at school for goodness sake its just silly of them to do right? Okay Niamh calm down... Sorry bitchy people put me in rage haha.

Q. Is it easier going to a mixed or single sex school?
There is very mixed feelings about both single sex schools and mixed schools as they both have their pros and cons. So I thought I'd make pro's and cons lists. Enjoy :)

Single Sex School:
. PROS
. Not having to look good cause no boys and its just school.
. Nothing to overly distract you.
. No boy-girl drama.
. You are able to vocal about how annoyed you are with your period.
. No worry about accidentally walking into boys toilets.

.CONS
. Everyone's bitchy.
. Girl drama.. worse than boy drama.
. Arugments.
. Groups, cliques and 'incrowds'.
. People say why look good and then judge you anyway which is a lot of crap.

Mixed School:
. PROS
. Not as much bitchiness.
. You can have your boy mates with you.
. Not so many group issues and incrowds.
. Not judge on how you look as much.

. CONS
. Boys could be distracting.
. Boy - girl drama and awkward boyfriends fights.
. Cant be vocal about how annoyed you are at your period.
. Could accidentally walk into boys toilets... awkward.

Hop you enjoyed this blog guys and that it gives a few tips on school survival if this does well I will definitely do more blogs like this in the future! Hope you liked it! :)

Center Parcs Summer Holiday 2013

QHey everyone!
I know I haven't done a blog post in a while so I plan on making it up to you guys a lot in the next few months!
I thought I'd do a blog about my holiday with my family to Center Parcs Elevden Forest in August this summer and it was absolutely amazing! I have been going here on holiday ever since I was little but this visit made a massive difference and was a lot more memorable than any other trip there before.
All photos used in this blog are mine taken on a Nikon COOLPIX P510. ©

My brother is a bit of a nature geek and as he was exploring I decided to take a picture of him hovered in a tree admiring bits of the forest and the lake.

Me trying to be a photography pro-bro taking a photo of the Center Parcs Piazza sign. They have Bella Italia in there! (Yum)

Cause I decided to take an odd selfie in the Pancake House! It's the British version of IHOP and it's very good!

It looked more like Spain than Britain all week! The sun didn't stop shining!

My pro-bro ness once again taking some shots of these butterflies having a rest on these lovely flowers.

The rather luminous ten pin bowling alley. Note to self never again wear a white bra under a pale top... It glows under UV light.

Our wall in our lodge reminded me of Katniss's in the Hunger Games in her room in the Capital. The forest along the wall.

My brother posing in a tree.

One again my brother likes to pose in trees.

An apparently so do I.

Niamh. Stop. Posing.

Actually rather like this photo, too bad it's blurry. (thanks Fin)

Fin showing his love of nature once again by examining this tree. He's secretly a tree hugger.

My top is the best you gotta admit.

My dog Sophie loved watching everyone on the high ropes Tree Trekking.

Fin having fun on the Aerial adventure tree trekking high ropes.

Fin once again smiling up on the Aeiral High ropes. He must really love being in trees.. I swear he must be a monkey.

Okay now it's my turn to be a monkey.

I gotta admit that climbing wall was the worst part. I did enjoy being a monkey though on the Tree Trekking.

The rather luminous bowling alley once again. This was at night when the party on the alleys was in full swing.

A father son moment.

Me and my brother in Bella Italia after a rather stressful night of Panic and other rubbish stuff but it turned out great in the end.

Bit of photography of the village square.

Fin enjoying the wifi hotspot in Starbucks so he could catch up on PewDiePie.

My dog even managed to find a holiday romance.. My dog has more skills than me.. Oh lord.

So guys those are a few pictures from my holiday! If you have never been to a Center Parcs holiday I highly recommend it! There are so many amazing things to do there for all the family and loads more things that I weren't able to catch on camera (like the amazing swimming pool) check out their website and have a look at breaks and give it a try! I did so many amazing thig son that holiday I never thought I'd do or ever have the courage to do but using Zoella's saying of 'Just Say YES' it really made it worthwhile and I can't wait to return there in October for my 16th birthday with my best friends!

Hope you all enjoyed this blog and that you go an check out center parcs cause it really is an amazing holiday and is full of great experiences that loads of people can enjoy!

Lots of love , Niamh xxx
